Instagram says that millennial grey is over, and that today we should choose warm walls, dark woods, and polished chrome everywhere. I’m very glad this home is none of that.

There is no trend to follow here, but a home that reflects the people who live in it. And you can feel it immediately: primary colours, Kandinsky prints on the walls, IKEA pieces mixed with design objects, small dinosaur figurines used as everyday decor. Different elements living together effortlessly because they all belong to the same story , the personality and daily life of the owners.

And that is exactly the point. When you choose objects and colours that truly speak about you, coherence is not something you design, it simply happens. You are not building a “correct” image; you are shaping a personality in space.

Trends keep changing: powder blue a few years ago, butter yellow today, something else tomorrow. But the most successful homes don’t chase these shifts. They stay grounded in their own internal logic, something more intimate and lasting.

In this project, coherence is visible in every detail: in the furniture, in everyday objects, in the choice of a coffee pot, and in the way the space is lived day after day. It is this authenticity  imperfect but honest that makes the home feel alive and timeless.
